There are couples you feel connected to right away, even before meeting them in person. It was exactly like that with them.
He’s Parisian, with a very distinctive style. She has Bulgarian roots, but has been living in France for years, where they met and built their life together.
They reached out to me directly in 2023, well in advance for their 2025 wedding. We later met in Florence during one of their trips to visit the venue and choose their vendors. During that time, we also planned an engagement session in the city, and their reaction to the images was the first real sign of how special this journey would be.
At Castello di Barberino del Mugello, the day naturally found its rhythm, between the outdoor ceremony and dinner in the limonaia. No rigidity, no excess, just space left for what was unfolding.
It was one of those days where everything flows with ease. You feel free to experiment, to move naturally, and connections with people happen without effort.
And somewhere between the aperitivo and the start of dinner came one of the most distinctive moments: a Bulgarian ceremony, reinterpreted in a light and personal way. Traditional outfits, smiles, a sense of closeness. Unexpected, yet completely true to their story.
And maybe it was exactly this sense of ease, so inherently theirs, that made everything feel so natural to tell.
