True growth often happens outside institutional spaces, in those interstitial zones – what Dr. Seuss called “the waiting places.” Hans Ulrich Obrist once organized an event on science and art with all the trappings of a conference – receptions, lunches, airport pickups, gossip – but without the actual conference. It turned out to be a success, sparking relationships and collaborations that still endure.

In the end, emotions are what stays with you after a beautiful wedding.

And no amount of grey sky can wash those away. That day, the rain did its best to throw us off course, but it couldn’t dull the beauty of a wedding where every detail of the wedding had been thoughtfully curated, and the location, Antico Borgo La Torre, was pure Tuscan charm surrounded by rolling countryside.

Sure, we had to shift a few plans on the fly. But if there’s something I love about this work, it’s witnessing how gracefully people embrace the unexpected.

Because often, that’s when the real magic happens.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team of professionals I collaborated with. Working in sync makes all the difference, and this time, it truly did.
